Located strategically around the NLEA Region, there are ten Business Resource Centers located in nine communities.
Primarily housed in local libraries, in partnership with your Chambers of Commerce, these centers provide a myriad of useful information for anyone looking to start a business, grow your existing one, or simply bolster your entrepreneurial skill set.
Though the physical layout differs by location, the basic purpose of providing a variety of business resources is the same. As often is the case with NLEA, establishing and maintaining these centers has been an ongoing example of a true collaborative effort.
To ensure the reach of these resources is as convenient and broad as possible, many of these resources are readily available online and can be easily found via the NLEA website, as well as those websites hosted by your local chambers and libraries.
Though over time the delivery and use of Business Resource Centers may have changed, the need has not. Through collaborative partnerships with organizations such as SCORE, someone desiring confidential one-on-one business counseling is also available.
If you have any questions about where to find your closest Business Resource Center and to learn more about the resources available, go to www.northernlakes.net and see what NLEA and our partners have available for you.
