Karol Smith promoted to Purchasing Agent
Wojan Window & Door Corp. has announced two personnel changes among its headquarters staff.
Patrick Bubin has joined the company as its new Marketing Director. He has more than 15 years of marketing and communications management experience, primarily B2B (business-to-business), with automotive and other manufacturing firms. Bubin comes to Wojan from the Northwest Michigan Council of Governments (NWMCOG), where he managed a program to help companies prepare for the B2G (business-to-government) state / federal marketplace. Bubin holds a bachelors degree from the University of Michigan.
And the company has promoted Karol Smith to Purchasing Agent. She was previously a team leader and supervisor in the Charlevoix manufacturing plant. Prior to joining Wojan in 2000, Smith had 17 years of experience working for various military units in the areas of procurement, accounting, inventory management, finance and budget. She is a 3-year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, and has been a small business owner. Smith’s educational background includes coursework in logistics and accounting at the University of South Carolina, University of California – Los Angeles, and the University of Hawaii.
