Echo Quality Grinding
Each year, the Northern Lakes Economic Alliance recognizes and awards a “project of the year.” This is an achievement that helps our economy; creates and retains jobs; and often times represent extraordinary vision, teamwork and the willingness to take a chance so others can benefit. This year, the Alliance proudly awarded Echo Quality Grinding of Central Lake, Michigan its 2007 Project of the Year!
The NLEA assisted Echo Quality Grinding in obtaining a tax abatement from Echo Township to fund a company expansion and new equipment. As a result, the company was able to invest over $800,000 and create between eight and twelve new jobs, nearly doubling their current workforce.
