"How To Start A New Business" class

Each month, the NLEA offers a "How To Start Your Own Business" orientation class. This two hour session will help those who are considering starting a new business learn the basics.
The next orientation class is scheduled for Wednesday, September 22, at the Elk Rapids High School, (308 Meguzee) from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. You must pre-register to attend. Simply contact Cheryl at the NLEA office by phone (231-582-6482) or by email info@northernlakes.net to register.
Participants will meet with Wendy Wieland, the NLEA Business Counselor. Wendy is a certified SBTDC Business Consultant and MSU Product Center Agricultural Innovation Counselor.
In addition to learning the basics about how to develop a business plan, you will recieve workbooks and other resources important to help you think through and research the various aspects of starting a business.
If you are ready to get started, or just in the "dreaming" stage, this session would be a good start.
The session fee is $20.00 and you must register to attend. Please contact the NLEA office (231) 582-6482 or email info@northernlakes.net to reserve your spot and/or to find out more information.
