"Fundamentals of Starting a Business"
Each month, the NLEA offers a "Fundamentals of Starting a Business" class. This two hour session will help those who are considering starting a new business learn the basics.
The next orientation class is scheduled for Wednesday, June 20, 2012 from 6:00- 8:00 p.m at the Charlevoix Public Library. You must pre-register to attend. Simply contact the NLEA office by phone 231-582-6482 or by email info@northernlakes.net to register.
Participants will meet with Tom Erhart, one of the NLEA Business Counselors. Tom is a certified SBTDC Business Consultant.
In addition to learning the basics about how to develop a business plan, you will recieve workbooks and other resources important to help you think through and research the various aspects of starting a business.
If you are ready to get started, or just in the "dreaming" stage, this session would be a good start.
