Did you know the federal government purchases more than $350 billion of goods and services a year and the State of Michigan has a diverse portfolio valued at more than $11.6 billion? Did you also know that Northwest Michigan can boast of having one of the most successful PTAC programs across the State?
PTAC stands for “Procurement and Technical Assistance Center” and is a not-for-profit organization under the Networks Northwest partnership with its goal being to help companies throughout our region successfully obtain and perform under local, state and federal government contracts at NO COST!
The PTAC staff also provide a wealth of training and ongoing support to navigate the complexities of securing a lucrative government contract. The first step is to register as a PTAC client for their staff to make contact. You can begin by registering at this link: http://www.ptassist.com/services/ptac_web_application.php?id=653948063
The PTAC staff will be offering an introductory seminar on “Selling to Uncle Sam – Understanding the Government Marketplace” in Traverse City on December 12, 2017, 9:00-11:00 am at Networks Northwest Conference Room 3, 600 E. Front Street, Traverse City, MI 49685. You can see the event flyer here:
