This month we have wrapped up our meetings with nine municipalities, and have identified 27 sites as well as six different industrial parks to highlight for redevelopment.
During this process, we have been creating marketing packages that will be available online in a simple link that will feature up to three redevelopment ready sites and an industrial park if the community has one. Our main goal within the packages is to promote economic development in the community by making the information accessible and informative to anyone who views it. Each package will also include professional drone videos to showcase each location. With only a few weeks left in our internship program, we will be more focused on completing the packages in the office, and less occupied by commuting to the sites to gather information.
Following the completion of the packages, we will be meeting with the appropriate community to discuss changes that need to be made, as well as how they will be able to update the links once the internship is concluded. We are very excited to be able to present each package to the corresponding community and to hand over a marketing tool that they will be able to use and reuse in hopes to have a lasting impact in every community.
