Northern Lakes Economic Alliance (NLEA) is gearing up for the 2020 Annual Lunch. Be part of the largest gathering of local and state government officials, community and business leaders, area entrepreneurs, chamber members, educational leaders and everyone involved in the economic vitality of our region for networking and celebration. Come join us Friday, April 24th at Boyne Mountain Resort, from 11:30am-1:30pm. Doors and registration open at 11:00 am.
This isn’t your average luncheon. NLEA’s specialty is the unexpected. Some of the unique elements of past events included a 250+ student marching band, jugglers, and local robotics teams shooting T-shirts into the crowd. We’re excited to announce our keynote speaker for the event-a legendary brand with a great story, Bob Jacquart, owner of Stormy Kromer! Not only is there quality entertainment, but there is also no shortage of exciting and notable awards as well.
One coveted award is “Project of the Year.” This year another great project will join the ranks of these exceptional companies and past recipients: EJ, Great Lakes Center for the Arts, Petoskey Plastics, and Armor Express to name a few. Another award presented is “Maniac of the Year.” In classic NLEA fashion, we call this award “Maniac,” because it is presented to a group or individual that exemplifies positive and productive passion, energy, commitment, and results toward their goals. Past winners include Marcella and John Costin-Simply Marcella and Queenshead Wine Pub, the community of East Jordan, Scott MacKenzie-Charlevoix Humane Society, and the Manthei family.
So what are you waiting for? Reserve your table of 8 or individual tickets today for this rip-roaring experience. Tickets are $25 per person and $200 for a table of 8.
