This training class is put on by PTAC as part of their mission to assist businesses interested in working with state and federal government agencies. What does your small business need to establish the most efficient, effective proposal management team? Designed for business leaders seeking to diversify their company by government contracting, this class, presented by Sue Schweim Tellier, Vice President of JetCo Solutions, will further educate attendees on the following:

· The organizational structure supporting bid responses
· Internal stakeholders required for effective response
· How to determine Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for government sales, measure effectiveness and gauge success for efforts
· Tools available to help measure and organize responses
· Expectations regarding how much to invest in terms of dollars and employee time

While this training class is free of cost, space is limited.

NMC-Lean Manufacturing Champion

Learn to cut waste and cost out of your process while earning certification as a Lean Champion. Deliverables: build internal capacity, facilitated Kaizen at your location, sustain continuous improvement, lean manufacturing simulation and project planning, facilitator and kata skills, problem solving, current and future state mapping with lean metrics, 5S workplace organization, cellular flow, kanban pull system, standard work and poke-yoke, SMED, and TPM. Class meets two full days each month for six months.
